This is an email from a runner who attended one of Coach GP's speech at
the Around the Bay 30K Pasta Dinner 3/29/03:
“You
probably receive many emails like this, but I was so impressed by your talk
at the pasta dinner Saturday night, I had to let you know.
I felt like you were speaking directly to me that night and answering so
many of own questions of how I could improve my running and make it more
enjoyable.
I ran the race Sunday in preparation for a full marathon that I anticipate
running in May and I have to tell you that throughout those 30K I kept
hearing your advice and following what you said. Well, I have never run that
kind of distance with such a smooth, relaxed and almost effortless manner.
The jockey and the horse theory really stuck deep with me and I felt that
above everything else you said it is what made my run such a pleasure and
almost sorry that it was over.
I am now looking forward to the rest of my training and running my first
full marathon, but also the release of your book.
Thank you and God Bless,
Liz”
