The book arrived today, and from what I've already read, it's great!  I particularly appreciate Coach GP's inscription.         When the book is available on amazon, I promise to write a rave review as well as recommend it to my friends!  I'll finish the book in the car tomorrow on the way to Boston.           Again, Congratulations to you and Coach GP, and thanks!

Coach GP,

My name is Kristen Morascyzk and I live in Washington, PA ... I just ran the New Jersey marathon and had the pleasure to attend one of your sessions. You probably don't remember me, I was in the fist one on Saturday and I helped you demonstrate. Anyways, then I saw you about 30 minutes before the start and you remembered me.

I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed you session and that it was very useful during my run. This was my second marathon and I was running with the hopes of qualifying for Boston. My qualifying time is 3:40 and I did it. My time was 3:29!

During the race when I started to feel tired I thought about what you said about my arms and standing tall and it helped get to achieve my goal! Thank you!

What you have accomplished as a runner is remarkable and i am very impressed. I bought your book and look forward to reading it!

Thanks again.

Kristen Morascyzk

A 'Q and A' Session with Coach GP on the subject of online coaching...

I have my own questions...click to inquire
How much does it cost...

Q. What type of athletes do you coach online?

Coach GP: At Runningbuzz.com clients range from novice recreational to Olympian.

Q. If I am slow, does that make me a novice?

Coach GP:   No. It does not necessary follow that all elite athletes are experienced or all mid-pack runners are beginners.

Everyone should run within their own capabilities toward their own goals. It is where you are along that spectrum that determines how experienced you are.

Q. How did you start training runners online?

Coach GP:   It first started through my emailing schedules to my women's running group. Many of the runners I saw on the track once or twice per week were looking for ongoing structure, direction and coaching on their 'non-track' days. Email is an enormously effective and convenient medium for this.

Q. Is there a particular type or level of athlete that would benefit the most from online training?

Coach GP
:   No, not really, anyone can benefit. One of the reasons for having a coach is that it is hard for most of us to take an objective look at our own training and to have the discipline to work out and carry out a well-structured plan that will help us achieve our running and racing goals while avoiding injury.

These coaching benefits apply to all athletes at all levels. You certainly shouldn't feel that only the elite athletes deserve or require a coach.

Q. With your very busy schedule, what percentage of your inquiries or emails are you able to answer yourself.?

Coach GP:  Absolutely! 100% of the email inquiries generated by the Running Buzz website will receive a personal reply.

I look forward to helping you on your journey toward good health , fitness and competition and the opportunity to help you achieve all of your running goals.

Happy running!

I was highly influenced by your presentation at the Detroit Free Press Marathon seminar last Saturday. I've always been a self help kind of runner, but I must say that you laid out several things that helped me incredibly for the running of the marathon on Sunday. I spent a sleepless night with my heart beating out of my chest due to anxiety about reintroducing myself to the 18 mile wall that collapsed me at my first marathon a few months ago. I ran tall, I used the arms like a gunslinger and with these thought keys I improved my time by over 30 minutes to 3:35.
I am most grateful for your advice and I commend you on the enthusiastic manner that you presented it.

I look forward to buying your book and I hope that you have continued success in your coaching endeavors. I know that you can count me as one who you successfully coached and if I never eclipse what I ran Sunday I will have still gained confidence and a sense of achievement that is, as a popular commercial terms it, 'priceless'.

With my sincere thanks,

Tom Holloway
